TONY WYNO

In 2022, Tony Wyno retired from Warfighting System Solutions (WFSS), Inc., transitioning the company’s ownership and executive leadership to his daughter, Lisette Wyno. Since that time, WFSS has operated under Lisette’s sole ownership and leadership as President.

Tony Wyno, a retired Command Sergeant Major, completed an impressive 31-year career in the United States Army. His service spanned the Infantry, Aviation, and Air Defense Artillery branches, and he is a distinguished veteran of Vietnam, Operation Red Hat, Operation Desert Shield, and Operation Desert Storm. Tony’s leadership experience included positions ranging from Squad Leader to Air Defense Artillery School Command Sergeant Major.

After retiring from the United States Army, Tony joined Edge Inc., a military contracting and research and development company, where he served as the lead for Patriot Unit Mission Readiness Exercises. In this role, he was responsible for designing and executing world-class, National Training Center-style exercises and unit validations.

In 2006, Tony founded Warfighting System Solutions (WFSS), Inc. in response to the growing need to train Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar units for deployment. Tony and his daughter, Lisette Wyno, provided Mission Readiness Exercise support to multiple military units as the C-RAM program developed. What began as a two-employee venture grew into a successful company supporting the evolving needs of deploying units and soldiers.

Tony is recognized as a Legacy Member of the Air Defense Artillery and a recipient of the Ancient Order of Saint Barbara, the patron saint of Air Defense Artillery. His military awards include two Legion of Merit Medals, two Bronze Star Medals, four Air Medals, and a Purple Heart.

WFSS proudly recognizes Tony’s military service and his role as the company’s founder. His legacy remains an important part of the company’s history, while WFSS continues to operate under the sole ownership and leadership of Lisette Wyno.
